Within the framework of cooperation with the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI), the State Audit Office of Georgia is hosting a delegation from the State Audit Office of the Kingdom of Thailand, led by the Auditor General H.E. Mr. Monthien Charoenpol.

Auditor General of Georgia, Mr. Giorgi Gabitashvili, presented the 2024 Annual Report of the State Audit Office to the Budget and Finance Committee of the Parliament of Georgia.

The findings and recommendations reflected in the compliance audit reports of the Engurhesi Ltd and the Electricity Market Operator (ESCO) JSC were presented to the MPs.

Bringing together SAIs performance auditors from eight countries, the program reinforces international standards and facilitates the sharing of best practices in performance auditing.

INTOSAI IDI conducted a one-week training for experts for independent review of the Performance Measurement Framework for SAIs (SAI PMF), which was attended by Mariam Danelia, a Leading Analyst of the Strategic Analysis Division from the State Audit Office of Georgia.
