The department develops and enforces information security policy in the State Audit Office, manages the IT infrastructure of the State Audit Office, implements information and communication technologies and ensures their proper functioning. In addition, the department is in charge of automating IT processes in the office, computerization and optimization.

Giorgi Gachechiladze
Head of Department
Giorgi Gachechiladze joined the State Audit Office team in 2014.
He has been head of the Department of Information Technology Administration since June 2018. In 2016-2018, he held the position of Deputy Chief of Administration. In 2014-2016, he was the head of administration.
Prior to joining the State Audit Office, Giorgi Gachechiladze worked in the Revenue Service of the Ministry of Finance for seven years. In 2010-2014, he headed various structural units in the Audit Department of the Revenue Service, including the Information Assurance Division, Audit Task Management Division and Audit Technical Assistance Division. Later, he was appointed head of the Task Management Division at the office of Revenue Service. In 2007-2019, he worked as a tax inspector.
Giorgi Gachechiladze holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Tbilisi State University.
He speaks English and Russian besides native Georgian.
