Department of Finance, Logistics and Occupational Safety
The main tasks of the department are: budget planning of the State Audit Office and coordination of its implementation, as well as material provision of the State Audit Office.
The department carries out its tasks through the following divisions:
The Financial Division plans the budget of the State Audit Office, conducts accounting and reporting; Plans and implements procurement of goods and services for the needs of the State Audit Office.
The Logistics Division registers real estate and movable property on the balance of the State Audit Office, organizes and oversees the repair and reconstruction works related to the infrastructure of the State Audit Office, provides material and technical support.
David Kinkladze
Head of Department
Davit Kinkladze has been working in the State Audit Office since 2014. He was appointed head of the finance, logistics and occupational safety department in March 2020, and previously served as deputy head of the audit quality assurance department.
Prior to joining the State Audit Office, David Kinkladze served at the Revenue Service of the Ministry of Finance in 2010-2014: In 2010-2012 he was an intern in the Revenue Service, Senior Auditor of the 9th and 10th Divisions of the Tax Audit Division of the Audit Department, Chief Auditor at 9th Division, Head of the 4th Division, and in 2013-2014 - Head of the 3rd Division of Exit Tax Inspection of the Main Division of the Audit Department.
In addition to his professional activities, he also teaches: since 2018, he has been lecturing at the LEPL Public Audit Institute "Financial Auditing" and "Compliance Audit".
Davit Kinkladze holds a Master's degree in Food Technology (Georgian State Agrarian University). He is currently studying for a doctorate at the same university. He has undergone numerous international trainings in auditing, quality management, accounting and information technology. He is the author of five scientific publications.
In addition to his native Georgian, he speaks English and Russian.
