WORKSHOP OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE USAID PROGRAMME ON “GOOD GOVERNANCE INITIATIVE IN GEORGIA” HELD IN THE STATE AUDIT OFFICE 11 November, 2015

Today, on November 11, the workshop on “Main aspects of the pilot meetings with municipalities” took place in the State Audit Office. The goal of the workshop was improvement of communication of the Local Self-Government Entities Audit Department and organizing targeted meetings with stakeholders.

Key target audience of the Local Self-Government Entities Audit Department communication, carrying out pilot meetings with the audience, meetings’ place and time were discussed within the framework of the workshop. As a result of the workshop, the working group prepared the list that should be discussed at the pilot meetings with the local self-government entities and established agenda of the meetings as well. In addition, during the workshop, invited experts shared their experience with the participants of the workshop regarding the communication channels and their efficient methods.

Aimed at the effective communication with the society, the Local Self-Government Entities Audit Department, together with the communication group actively works on the implementation of the communication strategy and action plan and also plans capacity building in the future.
