The working group of the Parliament reviewed the Performance Audit report of the State Audit Office on "Fire Safety in Public Places".
The report describes how fire-technical inspection, carried out by the Emergency Management Service, meets the fire safety requirements in the facilities.
Deputy Auditor General, Eka Ghazadze and Head of Performance Audit Department, Giorgi Kapanadze talked about the findings of the audit process and recommendations, issued by the SAO.
The representatives of the State Audit Office introduced the international practice to the Members of the Working Group, that was studied within the scope of the audit and which is given in the report.
The representatives of Emergency Management Service and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia (MIA) attended the discussion of the Performance Audit report on fire safety. They presented the Action Plan for the implementation of the recommendations of the State Audit Office.
