With the support of the World Bank, within the scope of the technical assistance project of the "Economic Governance and Fiscal Accountability" programme of the European Union, the international accounting firm PwC shared its experience with 60 auditors from the State Audit Office regarding International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS). In addition, PwC introduced the colleagues the electronic platform created by them - IPSAS in a Box, through which it is possible to learn IPSAS standards using practical examples.
The professional development project for the auditors of the State Audit Office is being implemented since 2022.
With the support of the technical assistance project of the "Economic Governance and Fiscal Accountability" programme of the European Union, the parties discussed revenue audit, planning and risk assessment, procedures and training needs, and strengthening quality control in IT audit with involvement of the experts in order to improve the audit methodological basis and quality control system.
