Further to the invitation of the Netherlands Court of Audit (NCA), the delegation of the State Audit Office has visited the Hague.
The aim of the joint project of the Dutch and Georgian supreme audit institutions is to share knowledge and experience in quality management system, basic procedures and best practices of NCA.
The delegation was hosted by the Vice-President of NCA, Ewout Irrgang. The working meetings were also attended by the representatives of the Dutch Safety Board and the Ministry of Finance (MoF).
The delegation from the Georgian side has been composed by the Head Audit Quality Assurance Department, Alexander Gogolashvili, Deputy Head of the Department, Davit Kinkladze and Senior Auditor, Taia Tsiskarauli, the Head of the State Budget and Strategic Analysis Department, Tsotne Karkashadze and the Head of International and Donor Relations Division, Nino Kereselidze.
The visit of the State Audit Office delegation has been carried out in the Hague within the framework of the Constituency Programme of the Netherlands Ministry of Finance.
The project was preceded by a bilateral meeting by President of the NCA, Arno Visser and Auditor General, Irakli Mekvabishvili, held last year, with the support of the European Union (EU), within the framework of the visit to the Hague along with the members of the Parliament.
