Today, on May 18, South Korean Supreme Audit Institution (BAI) delegation visited the State Audit Office. The meeting was held within the framework of the ongoing project “Increase of citizens’ involvement in audit process”.
Within the framework of the working visit, South Korean colleagues met with the Auditor General. The main goal of the meeting was sharing of South Korean experience in regard of the citizens’ involvement in audit process.
It should be noted that citizens’ involvement tool introduced by Korean BAI is one of the best all over the world. At the meeting, Korean colleagues shared their experience and discussed challenges and current opportunities with the Auditor General. All the above-mentioned will be taken into consideration by the Georgian side with the aim to improve citizens’ involvement in audit process issue.
