On June 9-12, 2015, the Auditor General of the State Audit Office Lasha Tordia hosted the delegation of the Polish Supreme Audit Institution (NIK) chaired by its President Krzysztof Kwiatkowski.
Within the framework of the official visit, bilateral meeting were held in the State Audit Office regional branches in Kutaisi and Batumi, where the parties discussed the main aspects and future plans of the memorandum of mutual understanding signed between the SAI of these two countries.
During the meeting, Mr. Lasha Tordia and Mr. Krzysztof Kwiatkowski also talked about the TWINNIG Project of the governmental agencies. It should be noted that two-year project has started since October 1, 2014 and is aimed at institutional development of the State Audit Office.
The NIK’s President Krzysztof Kwiatkowski and other members of the delegation also took part in the 11th Public Procurement Knowledge Exchange Forum in Batumi on June 9-12, 2015.
