Within the framework of the 1st stage of a one-year project of the development of professional capacity, the training course on “Program Budget” was held in the State Audit Office by Australian expert Arnold Hoitink, on December 8-9, 2015. Up to 30 employees of the State Audit Office attended the training course.
This training course focused on the program budgeting – as a result-oriented approach, international experience in this direction, current challenges that Georgia faces and practical examples of different countries. In addition, the attention was also paid to the importance of program evaluation and its implementation-related issues. Moreover, meetings implied participants’ activities fulfilled by the SAO employees.
