The State Audit Office has submitted performance audit report on "inclusive teaching" to the Parliament 13 February, 2018

The State Audit Office submitted performance audit report on inclusive teaching system to the working group reviewing the SAO’s reports to the Budget and Finance Committee of the Parliament.

The State Audit Office has studied the availability of special education necessity for pupils at public schools during 2015-2016 and evaluated the productivity and performance of the budgetary funds spent for this purpose.
As a result of audit, gaps and shortcomings that had impact on the effective introduction of inclusive education in public schools were revealed. The report also provides recommendations issued by the State Audit Office for the improvement of these gaps.

Performance audit report was presented to the members of the working group by the Chief Auditor of the State Audit Office Mariam Zaalishvili and provided them with detailed information on the purpose of the audit, specific directions and recommendations.

Besides MPs, representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science attended the meeting.
