The State Audit Office delegation has visited the Netherlands in the scope of the EU supported project Institutional Strengthening of the State Audit Office. The State Audit Office delegation led by the Auditor General Irakli Mekvabishvili held meetings at the Netherlands Court of Audit (NCA). Avenues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation was discussed at the meeting with the President of NCA Arno Visser and the Vice-President Ewout Irrgang. The hosts also shared their experience about annual audit report and annual audit plan, quality control and innovations.
By the end of the visit the heads of delegations from the State Audit Office and the Parliament were hosted by Arno Visser. During the meeting the Auditor General Irakli Mekvabishvili noted that the Georgian and Dutch state audit services have similar institutional visions, their strategies are in compliance with each other and that both sides are ready to continue cooperation under the ongoing format.
The State Audit Office delegation along with members of the Parliament will continue their meetings from 18 April in Brussels.
