The Permanent audit group of the Budget and Finance Committee of the Parliament of Georgia reviewing the reports of the State Audit Office (SAO) got introduced to the "Audit Report on the Effectiveness of Information Systems on the Administration of Subsistence Allowance for Socially Vulnerable Households".
The report assesses the effectiveness of the business process for granting subsistence allowance, used mechanisms of the information systems controls, and information security issues.
Head of Information Technology (IT) Audit Unit, David Shavgulidze presented the findings and recommendations reflected in the report to the MPs.
Auditee - Representatives of LEPL Social Service Agency discussed the plan and status of recommendations implementation and answered the questions of the members of the permanent audit team.
The meeting was attended by the Deputy Auditor General, Davit Gogichaishvili and the Head of Performance Audit Department, Giorgi Kapanadze.
