Political Parties’ Financial Monitoring Service, as a result of election processes monitoring in the period of the 2013 Presidential elections of Georgia, completed the proceedings on 6 administrative cases, upon which protocols of administrative violations were drawn up and sent to the Tbilisi City Court for further response.
The above-mentioned protocols were drawn up on the following cases:
1. Non-submission of three-week and election period financial declarations by presidential candidate, Mr. Kartlos Gharibashvili, resulting in fine in the amount of 1 000 GEL;
2. Non-submission of three-week and election period declarations by presidential candidate, Mr. Mamuka Melikishvili, resulting in fine in the amount of 1 000 GEL;
3. Non-submission of three-week and election period declarations by presidential candidate, Ms. Nestan Kirtadze, resulting in fine in the amount of 1 000 GEL
4. Unauthorized Cash withdrawal operation from the election campaign fund account of the presidential candidate Ms. Nestan Kirtadze, resulting in fine in the amount of 1 000 GEL;
5. Non-submission of the information regarding the pre-election advertising campaign by the Political Union of Citizens “ United National Movement,” resulting in fine in the amount of 2 000 GEL
6. Non-disclosure of donations by the Political Union of Citizens “Democratic Movement - United Georgia” (in the amount of 32 318 GEL), resulting in double amount fine of the received donation.
