Representative of the State Audit Office took part in the forum of the Asia-Pacific region leaders “Open Governance for Inclusive Development" held in Jakarta, Indonesia.
The aim of the forum was to share experience and best practices of open governance to the parties in inclusive development.
At the forum organized by the Open Government Partnership (OGP) and the Government of Indonesia, Tsotne Karkashadze, Head of the State Budget Analysis Unit of the State Audit Office held presentation of the analytical web-platform "Budget Monitor" as an example of the best practices of public involvement in public finances management sphere.
The forum was opened by Tea Tsulukiani, the Minister of Justice of Georgia, as the representative of the presiding country leading committee of the "Open Government Partnership" (OGP).
The forum was attended by leaders of central and municipal government, ministers, civil and non-governmental sector representatives, business sector, media and other stakeholders.
