Auditor General Irakli Mekvabishvili presented "Annual Report on 2017 State Budget Execution" of the State Audit Office at the session of the Budget and Finance Committee of the Parliament.
The report analyses 2017 state budget planning and execution in the following directions including: fiscal parameters of the state budget, state budget revenues, budget planning process of the state funded organisations, public debt, condition of investment project fulfillment, budgeting software, use of separate programs or subprograms.
The report provides recommendations that would improve the state budget planning and reporting process and will enhance public finance management quality.
