The State Audit Office took part in a regional conference dedicated to the strengthening of state institutions of Europe and Central Asia, organized by the World Bank in Ankara.
450 delegates from Europe and Central Asian countries participated in the conference, including high-ranking government officials and the representatives of international donor organizations, private sector and scientific community.
At the conference, the State Audit Office was represented by Deputy Auditor General, Eka Gazadze and the Head of International and Donor Relations Division, Nino Kereselidze.
During the workshop, participants discussed innovative approaches of government reforms, government responsibilities, strengthening of accountability and citizen engagement in public administration. The conference was the best platform for professional cooperation, sharing of knowledge and experience.
The International Conference was supported by the UK Department for International Development (DFID), the European Commission (EC), the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
