State Audit Office became a member of the EUROCONTROL Board of Audit - the European Organization for the Safety of Air Navigation. Board of Audit carries out external audit function of EUROCONTROL agency. Board of Audit consists of EUROCONTROL member states. On January 1, 2014, Georgia became 40th member-state of this organization. The SAO will have two representatives in this organization, who are elected as members of Board of Audit for the period of 4 years – from July 1, 2015 till June 30, 2019.
