Today, on March 18, next public meeting was organized by the State Audit Office in Gori.
At the meeting, the representatives of the State Audit Office discussed compliance audit of findings of 2012-2013 financial-economic activity of Gori municipality and 2010-2012 and 5 months of 2013 Kaspi municipality. They also followed up the implementation of the issued recommendations.
The meeting was opened by the Auditor General of the State Audit Office Lasha Tordia.
Goal of this meeting is to increase citizens’ involvement in audit process and to improve the communication between the State Audit Office and stakeholders concerning local self-government budget issue.
The State Audit Office will continue to hold such meetings in the future as well (see the calendar of the public planned meetings).
