Today, on June 3, Auditor General of the State Audit Office Lasha Tordia held public meeting with Kvemo Kartli region local self-government units, non-governmental sector and media representatives.
Compliance audit reports of Rustavi (2013-2014 and 2015 (6 months)), Marneului (2012-2013) Dmanisi (2009-2012) and Tsalka (2013-2014) municipalities were discussed at the meeting.
The public meeting was held within the framework of the project “Increase of citizens’ involvement in audit process.”
The State Audit Office has held public hearings of audit reports in other Georgian regions as well, including Kakheti, Guria, Shida Kartli and Imereti.
