Within the framework of the project “Advancing of public involvement in audit process”, the State Audit Office held meetings in different Georgian regions.
On April 8, 2016 next round of the meeting took place in Kutaisi, with the representatives of Imereti region, where Sachkhere municipality (2013-2014 compliance audit of financial-economic activity), Chiatura municipality (financial and compliance audit 01.01.2010-01.01.2013), Tskaltubo municipality (2010-2012 compliance audit of projects implemented within „Rural support program”), Baghdati municipality (2012-2013 compliance audit of financial-economic activity and financial audit of 2012-2013 financial statements), Kharagauli municipality (compliance audit of 2013-2014 and 6 months activity of 2015), Samtredia municipality (compliance audit of financial-economic activity and financial audit of 2012-2013 financial statements), deficiencies revealed during audits and implementation of issued recommendations were discussed.
The State Audit Office will continue to hold such meetings in the future as well (see the calendar of the public planned meetings).
