On December 16, 2015, public forum on budget transparency and civil monitoring of government expenditures was held by the support of the Eurasian Partnership Foundation. Different organizations, working on public finance management issues took part in this forum. The State Audit Office presented its initiative regarding the increase of citizens’ involvement in public finance management monitoring. This initiative implies creation of the advisory working group together with NGOs, development of web-platform of the Parliament and citizens’ involvement and citizens’ engagement in the improvement of the public finance management process.
It is should be noted that the State Audit Office has already created an advisory group.
In addition, procurement of the web-platform development service is planned to be financed by the World Bank.
