With participation of international organizations (WB, UNCTAD, IDI) and the representatives of 27 Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs), the annual meeting of the Public Debt Working Group (WGPD) was convened in Baku.
Ana Mazmishvili, representative of the State Audit Office of Georgia, discussed the role of the Supreme Audit Institutions in the assessment of fiscal sustainability of the countries.
Representatives of the audit offices held presentations on the practices and challenges in the field of public debt management in their home countries.
The goal of the WGPD Annual Meeting was to exchange experience and information regarding audit of public debt.
Nino Bitsadze, representative of the State Audit Office also attended the meeting of the working group.
