LEPL - Public Audit Institute of the State Audit Office held presentations of the new project "Public Sector Auditors’ Certification Program" at partner universities.
The project gives students of bachelor’s and master’s degree of relevant professions to be engaged in theoretical and practical training program, pass the certification process and paid internship at the State Audit Office.
The representatives of the Public Audit Institute held meetings at the Georgian National University and Grigol Robakidze University to study the importance and essence of the project.
Within the framework of the project, Memorandum of Mutual Cooperation was signed with seven higher educational institutions. Presentations to be continued at universities in the future.
The training course of the Public Sector Auditors\' Certification Program is led by analysts of the State Audit Office and invited experts. After the successful completion of the program, the five-year certificate, giving the right to conduct audit in the public sector will be issued. Course duration is 3 months.
