Memorandum of Mutual cooperation was signed between the Public Audit Institute and the Georgian Technical University.
Within the framework of the Memorandum, BA and MA students will be able to pass the Public Sector Auditors’ Certification Program, developed according to the international standards.
The certification program consists of two stages - training course and certification exam.
After successful completion of certification exams, graduates will receive 5-year certificates, which allows them to provide audit in the public sector.
Director of the Public Audit Institute Davit Azmaiparashvili and senior trainer of the Public Audit Institute Vakhtang Kezheradze presentated about certification program to the students of Business and Law Faculties of the Georgian Technical University.
At the first stage, within the public sector certification program, the Public Audit Institute signed a memorandum with 9 accredited higher education institutions. This is a long-term program and covers cooperation with various higher education institutions.
The first stream of participants of the program started education in June lasting for 3 months.
