Today, on May 7, Auditor General of the State Audit Office Lasha Tordia held the meeting with the Head of the International Relations Office of the Scottish Parliament Fergus Cochrane (FC) and the Clerk to the Public Audit Committee of the Scottish Parliament Jane Williams (JW).
At the meeting, the parties discussed budget planning principles, budget cycle, the importance of the cooperation of the State Audit Office and parliamentary committees as well as the role of this process in the performance of the effective budget auditing. The meeting was organized by the Westminster Foundation for Democracy.
