The Auditor General Irakli Mekvabishvili and the Head of the Performance Audit Department of the Court of Audit of Slovenia Miroslav Kranjc discussed performance audit quality assurance and strategic activities planned in this direction at the meeting held at the State Audit Office of Georgia.
"Performance Audit Quality Assurance is one of the main priorities of the State Audit Office," stated Auditor General. According to Irakli Mekvabishvili, recommendations and assessments given by the international expert in this regard are very important.
15 performance audit reports have already been prepared in the State Audit Office with the direct participation of GIZ invited expert Miroslav Kranjc. Currently, following performance audits by the participation of the expert are underway: "State property privatization process", "preventive measures of road safety ensuring" and "legal response measures for violation of traffic rules".
Deputy Auditor General Ekaterine Gazadze, Head of the Performance Audit Department Irakli Tsitsilashvili and GIZ PFA Advisor Inga Sinjikashvili attended the meeting.
