Department in the Autonomous Republic of Adjara held the meeting with the representatives of the local NGO sector.
Goal of the meeting was to present department’s 9 months activity report implemented in 2015, namely:
during 9 months in 2015, the Audit Department in the Autonomous Republic of Adjara has performed 28 audits, including 14 compliance audits and 14 financial audits. As a result of audits, materials of 6 cases were sent to the law-enforcement bodies.
It was noted that different deficiencies, concerning the existed gaps in accounting system, management of the state procurement and property, and other issues were revealed as a result of audits.
In this regard, the Department prepared reports and recommendations and sent them to audtees, the consideration of which will contribute to the improvement of the public finance management in the Autonomous Republic of Adjara.
