Today, on May 10, the Auditor General of the State Audit Office Lasha Tordia held the meeting with the representatives of NOGs. 2016 parliamentary elections preparatory processes and activities planned by the State Audit Office were discussed at the meeting. In addition, information regarding the designing of the new web-site of ongoing monitoring results as well as financial monitoring service was also presented at the meeting.
Moreover, it was agreed that interim advisory commission working on the monitoring of legitimacy and transparency of the political finances issues would be set up during the pre-election period. The commission would be staffed with the representatives of NGOs, which would observe the monitoring process of the political parties’ financial activity.
