Mariam Zaalishvili, Head of the Social Sector Audit Department at the State Office of Georgia, has conducted a performance audit training for internal auditors of the Ministry of Justice, in collaboration with the Training Center of Justice.
Ms. Zaalishvili is also a performance audit expert with the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions Development Initiative (INTOSAI/IDI) and mentors member states supreme audit institutions in implementing performance audits, within the framework of bilateral support programs.
Additionally, she serves as a trainer at the Public Audit Institute of the State Audit Office of Georgia, where she co-leads the performance audit training program alongside her colleagues.
Since 2011, the State Audit Office of Georgia has been conducting performance audits within a wide range of sectors of public administration, including healthcare, education, social services, economic development, public infrastructure, environmental protection and public safety.
