Today, on February 19, a hearing of the Performance Audit report of the State Audit Office of Georgia – “Effectiveness of Management of State Owned Enterprises” was held in the Parliament.
Within the framework of the meeting, the main findings of Performance Audit of Management of State Owned Enterprises were presented, which included the following issues: creation of the state owned enterprises and establishment condition of main principles of the corporate management, privatization of shares and assets of the state owned enterprises, profit distribution system, and also, recommendations provided for the eradication of the gaps based on an analysis of Performance Audit findings.
Representatives of the Sector Economy and Economic Policy Committee of the Georgian Parliament, National Agency of State Property of Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia and Performance Audit Department of the State Audit Office of Georgia attended the hearing.
