Following the Loan Agreement signed between the Government of Georgia and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD, World Bank) in 2016 conducted with the Roads Department about assessment of the Secondary Road Asset Management Project – SRAMP project, assessment and verification should be carried out annually through an independent audit. The SAO has been conducting an independent performance audit of the World Bank project annually since 2018, and based on the audit the allocation of the tranche for the project is decided.
Project Outcomes:
The activities of the project for 2016-2021 were covered within the framework of three audits carried out by the SAO (see: Roads Department of Georgia – Secondary Roads Asset Management Project|2018 (sao.ge).
