The Auditor General of Georgia Mr. Irakli Mekvabishvili held a farewell meeting with the EU ambassador Janos Herman who completed his mission in Georgia
Mr. Irakli Mekvabishvili and Amb. Herman discussed the already undertaken and planned activities under the Institutional Strengthening of State Audit Office project. This is the EU supported project that started in 2017 and aims to strengthen independence and capacity of the State Audit Office
The Auditor General thanked Amb. Herman for constructive and productive cooperation and support. Amb. Hermann himself confirmed the willingness on behalf of the EU to cooperate further with the State Audit Office
