On May 5-6 and 23-24, 2016, seminar dedicated to the “Effective communication of the State Audit Office” was held for the SAO staff.
The seminar, organized by the USAID, was conducted by the journalist Nino Jafiashvili.
Aim of the seminar was to improve the skills of the SAO’s staff in regard of communication with journalists and society. Namely, following issues were discussed: how to write simply and clearly, how to write information logically, how to match SAO’s and media’s needs, how to select proper messages and how to become successful respondent.
Participants of the seminar were engaged in a number of activities, discussed already existing examples of effective communication and possible ways of improving the SAO’s communication.
Seminar was attended by the auditors as well as by analysts and representatives of the Press and PR Unit.
