Today, on March 25, one-day seminar on the improvement of effective communication between the SAO and the media was organized by the donor organization Louis Berger.
Media seminar was opened by the Auditor General of the State Audit Office Lasha Tordia.
At the seminar, following issues were discussed by the representatives of the State Audit Office:
- Role of the SAO in the state budget supervision process; Performance audit: common challenges and recommendations;
- Communication with media on public finance policy and support of management reform, financial journalism and the role of journalism in this direction.
At the one-day media seminar, PFM project communication expert Manuela Lapadat held the presentation on the innovative tools and mechanisms of cooperation with media.
