The delegation of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia paid a visit to the State Audit Office of Georgia.
The meeting was organized by the GIZ Regional Program "Public Finance Management in the South Caucasus". The aim of the program is to share the experience of the main participating institutions of the budget process in Georgia and Armenia with legislative bodies, supreme audit institutions and finance ministries.
Auditor General Irakli Mekvabishvili and Chair of the National Assembly of Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Gagik Minasyan discussed the role and current challenges of the Supreme Audit Institutions in Public Finance Management.
Deputy Auditor General Eka Ghazadze and Advisers of the GIZ PFM Georgia and Armenia - Inga Sinjikashvili and Hovhannes Margaryants also attended the meeting.
