On December 9, the conference : “Challenges’ of Georgia’s anti-corruption policy” was held in the hotel Courtyard Marriott. Major review of Georgia’s national anti-corruption system was presented at the conference, where the attention was paid to the achievements and weaknesses of the anti-corruption policy.
Auditor General of the State Audit Office Lasha Tordia, as a guest speaker, spoke about the role of the State Audit Office in preventing corruption. Non-governmental organizations, which were taking part in the conference, expressed their opinion regarding the public procurement and asset declarations system.
The conference -- “Challenges’ of Georgia’s anti-corruption policy” was organized by the initiative of the “Transparency International – Georgia” and was funded by the European Union.
