The representatives of the Ajaran Department of the State Audit Office held a meeting in Khulo municipality.
At the meeting, Head of the Department Kakhaber Kirtava presented about the results of audits conducted in the municipalities and action plan for the implementation of recommendations issued by the State Audit Office for prevention of major shortcomings.
At the meeting, the State Audit Office expressed its readiness to organize trainings for municipality staff, which will increase professionalism of municipality staff and public sector management system.
Aimed at prevention of gaps and strengthening cooperation in the public finance management process, Adjara Department of the State Audit Office will periodically meet with the municipalities.
