The State Audit Office (SAO) hosted the representatives of the City Auditor Office of Sacramento, California, Lynn Bischoff and Jordan Sweeny.
Californian auditors are in Georgia under the American Councils for Professional Fellows Program (PFP), which aims to encourage public servants from other countries to receive professional practice in U.S. public agencies.
At the meeting, representatives of the SAO and the City Auditor Office of Sacramento exchanged the specifics of their work and shared the experience of conducting the performance audit. They also discussed the audits related to gender and ethnicity.
From the SAO, Deputy Auditor General, Eka Ghazadze, Head of State Budget and Strategic Analysis Department, Tsotne Karkashadze and Head of Performance Audit Department, Giorgi Kapanadze attended the meeting.
