Auditor of the State Audit Office held a presentation for colleagues from 18 Countries about Georgia at GAO in Washington 26 June, 2019

Auditor of the State Audit Office, Mariam Zaalishvili held presentation on Georgia at the event organized by the U.S Government Accountability Office (GAO) in Washington, DC.

The event was dedicated to the introduction of the culture and other themes of 18 countries from around the world involved in the professional training program.

Mariam Zaalishvili introduced Georgian culture, tourism potential, sightseeings and other pecularities of Georgia to the representatives from GAO and the auditors from different countries, participating in the program.

A separate panel was allocated to the introduction of different types of supreme audit institutions, involved in the professional development program, where the auditors presented the work of their respective institutions. Mariam Zaalishvili talked to the colleagues about the priorities of the State Audit Office, implemented innovations and reports.

Mariam Zaalalishvili is at the GAO in Washington, following a four-month Internatioanl Auditor Fellowship Program together with 18 countries around the world, including Estonia, Argentina, Brazil, Albania, Hong Kong and others. The auditors participating in the program are directly engaged in the audit process and auditory research.
