The German Auditor Frank Fritsch presented on the experiences of the German Supreme Audit Institution to the auditors of the State Audit Office. The Auditor introduced the German practice on tax revenue audit to the Georgian colleagues.
At the presentation, Frank Fritsch reviewed the tax revenue structure, audit process, approaches and methods, as well as selection techniques of auditing in Germany.
At the workshop, auditors discussed several practical examples from audit reports.
In turn, the representatives of the SAO informed the German specialists about the tax system of the state and explained the role of SAO in this regard.
The representative of the German Supreme Audit Institution visited Georgia within the scope of the GIZ project "Public Finance Management in the South Caucasus".
