The State Audit Office presented two audit reports at the session of the Standing Working Group on Audit Reports in the Parliament.
The performance audit reports refers to the effectiveness of the enforcement process of the LEPL - National Bureau of Enforcement and the Ensuring Gender Equality in General Education.
The findings and recommendations of the audit on the enforcement process of the LEPL - National Bureau of Enforcement were presented to the members of Parliament by Giorgi Kharatishvili, the Head of the Audit Team. He also discussed, together with the representatives of the auditees the importance of the recommendations issued and the current status of their implementation.
Giorgi Kapanadze, the Head of the Performance Audit Department, introduced the report - “Ensuring Gender Equality in General Education” to the MPs. The audit reviewed the 2018–2023 strategy and measures undertaken in this period, resulting in four recommendations issued to the audited entities. The auditees agreed with the recommendations and noted that due to the complexity of the issue, their implementation takes time.
