Representatives of the State Audit Office within the scope of the European Union Project "Support to external security sector oversight in Georgia" conducted the Swedish Supreme Audit Institution a study visit with related to audits of the defense and security sector.
The Swedish colleagues shared the experience of the Swedish SAI in financial and performance audits in the defense and security sector to the auditors of the delegation; they also introduced approach and practices of technological and digital data in audit. One of the main topics was sharing experience of the Swedish Supreme Audit Institution in cooperation with the Parliament.
The European Union Project "Support to external security sector oversight in Georgia" helps the SAO to strengthen its professional capabilities in audits of defense and security sector.
