Lasha Kelikhashvili, Head of the State Budget Analysis Office of the Department of State Budget and Strategic Analysis, participated in the conference of the Network of Supreme Audit Institutions (SAI) of candidate and potential candidates for EU membership on the topic of „audit of the final account of the state budget“.
The conference participants shared their experiences on the role of their country's supreme audit institutions in promoting and strengthening public finance management reforms. In this panel discussion, the State Audit Office was represented by Lasha Kelikhashvili, who spoke about the results and challenges achieved in the reform process.
The conference for the members of the Network of the SAIs of the EU candidate and potential candidate countries was hosted in the city of Budva, Montenegro, within the framework of the cooperation the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and SIGMA project.
