Within the framework of the visit to Georgia, the representatives of the Venice Commission visited the State Audit office for a meeting.
The interest of the spokespersons of the commission related to the opinion of the SAO on the anti-corruption law provisions.
Deputy Auditor General Sophio Dvalishvili and Head of the Legal Department Nato Zaalishvili informed the experts of the Commission about the SAO’s mandate in the fight against corruption.
The delegation of the Venice Commission met with the various state organizations. The purpose of their visit to Georgia was to discuss cooperation between Georgia and the Venice Commission, and to prepare the conclusion of the Venice Commission regarding various legislative changes.
