State Auditors participated in an international training program – „Audit of e-Governance“, hosted in Noida (India) at the International Center for Information Systems and Auditing of India (ICISA) of the Supreme Audit Institution of India.
The training program, involving nearly 40 representatives of SAIs from 25 different countries, included covered an introduction to the e-government concept, its opportunities and challenges, the principles of auditing e-government projects, and risk assessment. The participants of the program also studied the use of various data analysis tools, the evolution of e-governance systems on the example of India and shared their practical examples.
Meetings were hosted within the framework of cooperation with the International Center for Information Systems and Auditing (ICISA) of the Supreme Audit Institution of India, where the participants got acquainted with the audits conducted by the Indian Audit Office, also computer programs used by them for analytical procedures and data visualization, such as: Tableau, Power BI and KNIME.
Auditor Anano Lomaia and senior auditors Natalia Saghareishvili and Irakli Petriashvili from the SAO’s side participated in the training program of ICISA founded by the SAI of India. At the end of the training the auditors have beenwere awarded training certificates.
