Tornike Shermadini, the Head of the Economic Activities Audit Department, participated in the training „Government Audit on Public Construction Works" supported by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), which was hosted at the JICA training center in Tokyo and at the training center of the Board of Audit of Japan in Annaka.
The training for the auditors of the Supreme Audit Institutions of Georgia, Azerbaijan, Mongolia, Fiji, Vietnam, Zambia, Kenya, Sri Lanka, Mauritius and Botswana was conducted by the representatives of the SAI Japan.
The training program included the processes related to the Audit on Public Construction Works and familiarization with examples of Japanese experience.
At the end of the training program, the participants were awarded certificates.
The training lasted from June 27 to July 24. At the opening of the training, Mr Harada Yuhei, Secretary General of the Supreme Audit Organization of Japan welcomed participants where Tornike Shermadini also delivered a welcome speech and thanked the organizers for promoting professional development and sharing experience.
