Auditors from the State Audit Office participated in the seminar on sharing international IT audit practices, which was organized by the Supreme Audit Office of Poland (NIK) and was hosted in the cities of Warsaw and Goławice.
The seminar included theoretical review of the main modules from the WGITA – IDI Handbook on IT audit for Supreme Audit Institutions and practical work on platforms created specifically for IT audits.
In the process of practical work, the employees of the SAO of Poland shared their experiences with the Georgian auditors about the two platforms – „Control Space for e-Government projects“ and AITAM data. Participants of the workshop got familiar and learned the following modules of the AITAM platform: basic modules of IT Audit, preliminary audit procedures (including risk assessment), findings, recommendations and plug-ins and templates.
Giorgi Rostiashvili, Senior Auditor of Audit Quality Assurance Department, and Giorgi Molashvili, Senior Auditor-Assistant of Information Technology (IT) Audit Unit participated in the seminar.
