At the plenary session, the Head of the Audit Department in the Autonomous Republic of Adjara of the State Audit Office (SAO) Kakha Kirtava presented the report on the "Execution of the 2022 Republican Budget of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara", to the Supreme Council of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara at the plenary session.
The report evaluates the results of revenues and expenditures provided by the 2022 Republican budget of Adjara and analyzes the matters that affect the public finance management process.
The report mentions that the timely and balanced utilization of budget allocations is important both for presenting the budget performance with a real indicator and for ensuring purposeful and effective spending of budget funds.
According to the assessment of the State Audit Office, in order to facilitate the functioning of the public finance management system, it is appropriate to take into account the notes and recommendations, the implementation of which will improve the budget planning-reporting process and contribute to the increase in the quality of public finance management.
