Senior auditor Nazi Chaganava will participate in the US International Auditor Fellowship Program 2023  27 April, 2023

Nazi Chaganava, a senior auditor at the State Audit office of Georgia (SAOG), social sector audit department, will participate in three-month International Auditor Fellowship Program (IAFP) at the US Government Accountability Office (GAO).

At the Washington office, together with the auditors from different countries she will be directly involved in GAO's audit processes, including performance audits and impact assessment. Also, she will get acquainted with the mechanisms of cooperation of the GAO with the Congress and other institutions of the US federal government.

During the professional training program, Nazi Chaganava will work on the topic “starting and maintaining high performing teams". At the end of the program, a strategic document will be prepared. The auditor participating in the program will share the principles described in it with her colleagues at SAOG.

Nazi Chaganava is the ninth auditor of the State Audit Office of Georgia, who participates in the professional training program of GAO.

SAOG with the help of the US Agency for International Development (USAID) has been taking part in IAFP provided By GAO.
